NETON, located in the city of Gwangju, southwest of Korea, has been receiving attention for its’ facial recognition software by applying artificial intelligent technology.

It is exclusively self-developed software and NETON provides it to the public with lowest cost but highest efficiency.

CEO Myeong Hong-chul and the rest of the employees are not greedy about earn big amount of money. Rather they want their technology to be used for the benefit of society.

What NETON has been concentrating is unmanned interactive Kiosk. It can block teenagers’ access to PC Bang – computer gaming center or internet cafe – after the midnight by recognizing ID card. This software recognizes human face with 99.8% of accuracy and can distinguish it at various angles even in the distance of 15 meters.

It’s excellent safety protection from under age’s PC Bang access, harmful object recognition or various possible accidents has been favorably reviewed. As a result, NETON recently signed a distributor agreement with a PC Bang maintenance company of national metropolitan cities.

Not only for PC Bang, NETON will set up its’ software to convenience stores, coin laundries, and karaoke soon. It is expected to provide unmanned services to young generations who are reluctant to have dialogues with people. And it will reduce labor costs for small stores and franchises due to the increased minimum wage.

NETON is also planning to expand business abroad. In Indonesia, the demonstration test of facial recognition solutions for shopping mall and building access management has been passed. An export consultation with Japanese enterprise is in the march, NETON believes the contract will be signed in the early next year.

NETON will promote the development of a smart screening control system that can be monitored efficiently by cooperating with video security specialists and security surveillance video using face recognition technology.
