'사슴 눈'을 한 고양이보다 더 귀여운 게 있을까.
고양이는 인터넷 바이럴의 대표적인 소재로 꼽힌다. 이미 수십년 전부터 미국에서는 넥타이를 맨 '비즈니스 캣'이나 '키보드 캣', '짜증 난 고양이' 등이 대표적인 밈으로 자리 잡았다.,
이는 생성 인공지능(AI) 시대에도 마찬가지다. 특히 생성 AI는 고양이의 눈을 실제보다 크게 그리는 경향이 있다. 눈빛을 반짝이며 지켜보는 고양이 사진 앞에서 '메이드 바이 AI'의 거부감 따위는 무장해제다.
크레비쥬(대표 김경환)는 미드저니를 이용해 다양한 텍스트 프롬프트를 기반으로 여러장의 고양이 사진을 만들어냈다. 특히 마지막 사진은 'A cat'이라는 프롬프트만으로 생성했다. 즉, 'AI가 생각하는 보편적인 고양이의 모습'이 무엇인지 보여준다.
