오픈AI는 동영상 생성 인공지능(AI) '소라' 발표와 동시에 30개의 출력물을 게시했다.
이에 대해 이 분야의 선두 주자로 꼽히던 런웨이의 크리스토발 발렌수엘라 CEO는 X(트위터)에 ‘게임 시작(game on)’이라는 글을 올렸다.
최근 이 분야에 뛰어든 이미지 생성 AI의 강자 스태빌리티의 이마드 모스타크 CEO는 샘 알트먼 오픈AI CEO의 X 게시물에 "당신은 마법사(Ur a wizard sama)"라는 트윗을 남겼다. 사마(sama)는 알트먼의 ID다.
특히 알트먼 CEO는 X를 통해 '소라로 만든 영상을 실시간으로 확인하고 싶다'는 요청에 응해, 즉석에서 영상 9개를 생성하고 업로드해 감탄을 자아냈다.
경쟁사들의 전의를 불태우고 찬사까지 끌어낸 소라의 동영상을 모아봤다. 여기에는 사실적인 비디오부터 애니메이션 스타일, 심지어는 영상 여러 개가 동시에 플레이되는 '콜라주'까지 포함돼 있다. 프롬프트는 원어 그대로 전달한다.
