5월의 AI 갤러리는 ‘아름답지 않은 것을 아름답게 표현할 수 있을까’라는 질문으로 시작했다. 과연 인공지능(AI)은 오염마저도 ‘패션 화보’로 재해석할 수 있을까.
김진성 가온프라임 AI 아티스트는 버려진 캔과 신문지로 만든 드레스, 뿌연 황사 속 마스크 룩, 플라스틱 쓰레기 위를 떠다니는 컬러풀 가운, 그리고 검은 기름이 흘러나오는 하수구 앞의 우아한 블랙 드레스 등의 이미지를 생성했다.
이번 작업도 자체 서비스 ‘노르디’ 와 ‘컴피 UI’ 워크플로우를 기반으로 진행했다. 이미지의 방향에 맞는 프롬프트를 입력해 결과물을 출력한 뒤, 노르디 내에서 시드와 CFG, 해상도 변형을 스윕하고 최적 이미지를 선택했다. 이후 라이트룸, 포토샵으로 컬러 그레이딩과 디테일 보정을 거쳐 완성도를 높였다.
김진성 아티스트는 “네장의 이미지는 모두 환경 파괴의 잔혹한 풍경을 패션 화보로 재해석한 결과물”이라고 설명했다.
